Step-by-Step Pressing Instructions
Step 1: Pre-Press the Garment
Pre-press the garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles. This helps the transfer adhere properly.
Step 2: Position the Transfer
Place the DTF transfer face down (design touching the garment) in the desired position. Make sure it is straight and centered.
Step 3: Press the Transfer
Cover with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper.
Press at 300–320°F for 10–15 seconds using medium to firm pressure.
Step 4: Cool & Peel
Allow the transfer to cool completely before peeling.
Slowly peel the film from one corner.
Most DTF transfers are cold peel unless otherwise stated.
Step 5: Final Press (Recommended)
Place a Teflon sheet over the design and press again for 5–10 seconds at the same temperature.
This improves durability and gives a smooth, professional finish.
